  • Ingredients:
  • 8-10 ea. Prepared tartlet shells
  • oz. butter
  • Cup diced onion
  • ea. Granny Smith apples
  • oz. Ile de France Normandie Camembert
  • Methods:
  • Pre heat oven to 400°F
  • Place tartlet shells on sheet tray
  • In a large sauté pan heat butter over medium high heat to melt
  • Add onions and sauté until caramelized stirring frequently
  • Meanwhile peel and dice Granny Smith apples
  • When onions have caramelized and are golden brown remove from heat
  • Spread a layer of caramelized onion on each tart shell
  • Divide the diced apple among the tart shells
  • Slice the Ile de France Normandie Camembert about ¼ inch thick
  • Top each prepared tartlet with the cheese
  • Place tartlet s in oven and bake for 5-8 minutes until cheese is slightly brown and bubbly
  • Serve immediately
